Redress Design Award Collection

Julia’s Redress Design Award collection, ‘puregrid’, explores the natural and renewable material of wool. Wool, sourced from factory surplus, is chosen for its timeless, calming, and minimalist design, highlighting the minimalism movement as a protest against overconsumption. Julia personally carries out all the production steps—spinning, weaving, sewing, felting—from fibre to finished garments. Designed for longevity, the collection offers various versatile features including a reversible jacket, volume for freedom of movement, and adjustable fasteners to accommodate various body shapes.
